BRAL was founded to provide organized, faith-based sports opportunities for Muslim youth in a safe, competitive, and values-driven environment. BRAL aims to promote character development, leadership, and community pride through athletics. We strive to create leagues and tournaments that emphasize inclusivity, sportsmanship, and excellence.
Create a sustainable sports program for all Muslim schools and communities. Empower all Muslim organizations to provide athletic opportunities to their community.
A future where every young athlete in our community has the opportunity to grow, lead, and thrive through competitive and values-based athletics.
A former NCAA Division 1 standout and professional soccer player
I bring a lifetime of experience in elite-level sports to my work as a Sports League Director. After a successful collegiate career as a 4-year starter at Saint Mary’s College of California—helping the team reach the NCAA Elite 8—I went on to play professionally with Sacramento Republic FC. Following my playing career, I transitioned into athletic leadership within Islamic schools, serving as Athletic Director at both the high school and elementary levels. For the past three years, I’ve directed the Bamrec Athletic League (BRAL), helping to grow and manage youth sports programs that emphasize excellence, character, and community.
